Manchester talents Connor Walker
and Midnight McBride join forces on
'Connor's Groove', the latest release
on Muscle Funk, a label built around creative
freedom and genre-fluid electronic music.

The original mix of 'Connor's Groove' is a vocal-led
house cut built around a deep rolling bassline,
crisp techy rhythms and a soaring vocal
performance. Combining underground energy
with a strong melodic edge, the track builds
towards a huge dramatic breakdown before
returning with maximum impact.

The collaboration pairs Muscle Funk founder
Midnight McBride with rising Manchester

whose journey from live bands into electronic
music has seen him secure residencies across
Greater Manchester, launch his own Infectious
events brand and make appearances at venues
including Es Paradis and Plastik Ibiza.

Also included is a remix from Manchester house
veteran Nick Hussey. Taking the track into
deeper territory, Hussey introduces a darker
atmosphere and driving groove before delivering
a huge old-school piano payoff that pays tribute to
the classic house records that helped shape his career. A long-standing figure within the city's club scene, Hussey has released music through
Defected, CR2 and King Street, alongside
performances at clubs and events across Europe,
the Middle East and North America.
